Conversational ads without hiding the work
Meddow lets people run Meta ads by talking to an AI. When I joined, the product worked but was hard to follow. I redesigned the whole experience in Figma, replaced the frontend, and extended the existing ads agent with new tools and better access to campaign data.
How it should feel
Confident, but transparent. Ads spend real money, so the conversation should feel easy while the structure underneath stays visible: what will run, for how much, and why.
I wanted people to feel in charge of the agent, never carried along by it.
Up close
The conversation does the setup, you keep the control
Ads spend real money, so the chat never acts silently. The assistant explains its plan in plain bullets (objective, audience, budget, creatives), then a confirmation card lists every object that will change and how, for example “paused to active”. Approve and Cancel sit directly under it, so the decision is the last thing you see, not something buried in a reply. The same pattern appears every time the agent wants to change something. The data in these screens is fictional.
The whole account as one readable map
The Campaigns canvas lays the account out as a tree: customer, campaigns, ad sets, then the creatives that actually run. Each ad set carries its own small performance tile (impressions, results, cost per result, click-through rate, cost per click, spend, frequency), always in the same order, so you can compare two ad sets by eye without opening anything. Showing the ad creatives at the bottom means you can connect a number to the image that earned it.
A funnel builder that behaves like a page, not a form
The funnel builder is a lightweight website editor. Elements (heading, rich text, list, FAQ, testimonial, countdown, image) sit in a palette on the left, the page is edited in place in the middle, and the properties of the selected block open on the right: content, level, alignment, colours, animation. Keeping the page at its real width in the centre means what you edit is what visitors see, and Publish stays in one fixed place at the top right.
Creatives you can generate, then reuse
The creatives library shows generated ads as a simple grid, each with its headline on the image, so you recognise it before you read anything. The generation bar stays pinned at the bottom with brand context, ratio and quality options, which keeps making a new creative one step from browsing old ones. Dark surfaces and a single green for primary actions give the whole product one calm, recognisable voice across chat, canvas and builder.
Looking back
The redesign gives people a faster way to create and manage ads while keeping what the agent proposes, and what will actually run, in plain view.
